Steve Mayner, SAFe® Senior Program Consultant for Scaled Agile, Inc.,  is an executive coach and Lean-Agile evangelist with a passion for cultivating transformational leaders and high performing teams. His 28-year career in business includes roles as Vice President in multiple Fortune 500 companies, as well as Chief Technology Officer for an Internet startup. Steve launched the first government implementation of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe®), which led to the successful turnaround of a large, mission-critical Department of Homeland Security program. 

Steve holds SPC4, PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, and CSP certifications, a Bachelor’s degree in Education, a Master’s degrees in Business Administration and Divinity, and is currently completing his doctorate in Strategy and Innovation. Married with five children and two grandsons, he lives in Southern Maryland, and is an avid runner, cyclist, backpacker, and exceptionally poor golfer!
