Shay began his career in 1997 as a developer in IDF in good old mainframe systems, then moved on to develop a backend data processing engine using C++. In 2006, he joined HP Application Lifecycle Management to develop a data synchronization product using .NET and Java. In 2008, Shay developed REST API platform, and in 2010, he moved to a platform backend team leader position where he experienced agile practices and the power of communication.
