Jens Vanderhaeghe, a full-stack Software Engineer on Airbnb's Continuous Delivery team in Belgium, is responsible for building tools that enable fast, automated, safe and repeatable deployments for all of Airbnb's engineering organizations. Jens built Merge Queue, an in-house queueing system for Continuous Integration at scale, and he is involved in a long-term company-wide migration from a monolithic Ruby ono Rails application to a Microservices-based architecture built on top of container orchestration in Kubernetes. He is passionate about developer productivity and developer experience.
