How to Make Red Lobster Biscuits
The secret to making our super easy savory snack is to use a food processor to prepare the dough.
Simply pulse all of the biscuit ingredients together (minus the melted butter and parsley for topping), then scoop the dough onto baking sheets that are lined with parchment paper.
An ice cream scoop lightly coated with nonstick spray works well for creating perfect little mounds.
Preheat the oven to 450ยฐ F. Pour the dry ingredients into a food processor, then add the cold butter and pulse until the butter is chopped into small pieces. Then pour in the milk and pulse to combine. Finally, add the shredded cheddar and pulse to combine until the final dough forms.
Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. Use a 3 tablespoon scoop to place even portions of biscuit batter onto the prepared baking sheet, two inches apart. Bake for approximately 10 minutes until golden brown.
Meanwhile, whisk the melted butter and parsley together in a bowl for the biscuit tops. After the Cheddar Bay Biscuits come out of the oven, lightly brush the tops with melted parsley butter. Serve warm.

Frequently Asked Questions
I have not attempted to use any alternatives to all-purpose flour for this recipe, but you can certainly give it a try.
To get the best fluffy texture and rise, you will need to use an all-purpose 1-to-1 ratio gluten-free flour mix with xanthan gum.ย Let me know in the comments if you try this substitute!
While Old Bay is not essential for the baking process, I do highly recommend using it to get thatย crave-worthyย copycat Red Lobster Biscuit flavor.
If Old Bay isnโt available, you can substitute it with a blend of paprika, ground mustard, and celery salt.
You can store these biscuits at room temperature in an airtight container forย 3-4 days.
You can warm them up in the microwave with a wet paper towel for a few seconds for a warm biscuit and melted sharp cheddar cheese on your own table.ย
To freeze, individually wrap each biscuit and store them together in an airtight container or freezer bag for up toย one month.
In most southern biscuit recipes, you do stir in some buttermilk, but this biscuit mix does not need the buttermilk to help it rise. The same goes for the eggs.

Delishโฆโฆneeded to cook another 5 minutesโฆ..Yum! Having along side some homemade borscht and salad
I made these tonight and they were delicious! I followed the recipe and the biscuits turned out great. Thank you!
If you don’t have a food processor, could you use a whisk or a mixer?
Hi Rhazya,
You can mix it with a pie crust cutter, or two forks, to make sure the butter is cut into the dough leaving little flecks of butter throughout. That will produce a better texture than a mixer. :)
Yum!
Very delicious and easy! Better than Red Lobster!
Easy and quick recipe. Yet so on point and delicious ๐
Thank you.
Amazing. I made 12 and ate 10.
Delicious! Best cheddar biscuits ever! Used Cabots Habanero Cheddar for an extra kick and didnโt even add the melted butter at the end. Much better than Red Lobster.
tasted amazing
Just made these in my Corsori air fryer. 350 deg for 12 minutes. Delicious!
This was incredibly delicious, and , unfortunately, just as addictive as the ones at Red Lobster๐. ย Easy to make, too, and I made only half the recipe, but used the exact amount of ingredients. ย The only item I didnโt have on hand was the parsley, so I chopped up some green onions instead, to maintain the โgreen bitsโ on top. ย Thanks so much for sharing.
These are wonderful! I misread the recipe and only put in 1 teaspoon of garlic instead of a tablespoon so I just added garlic to the parsley butter on top. Defiant a keeper recipe! ย Thank you!ย
I made these and this recipe is FANTASTIC! Thank you somuch my family loved them!
