Alvaro Muñoz works as the Principal Software Security Researcher with the Micro Focus Security Fortify team. In this role, he applies his passion for software architecture and understanding how security dependencies permeate systems. Before joining the research team, he worked as an application security consultant helping enterprises to deploy their application security programs. Muñoz has been a speaker at Security conferences such as Defcon, BlackHat, RSA, OWASP AppSecEU, Micro Focus Protect and many others and holds several information security certifications, including OSCP, GWAPT, and CISSP.
